About this stone
Premium Ledge Stone is what most of our customers build with. Every block is hand-selected at the quarry for a consistent 18 to 24 inch bed depth and a clean natural face, so courses stay level and the wall reads as one piece from the street.
Choose Natural Tan (warm, buff limestone), Gray Horizon (cooler split-gray tones) or a 50/50 mix of the two. All three come from the same Wamego ledge and can be mixed on the same wall.
Blocks are 14 inches tall, 3 to 7 feet long and weigh 800 to 2,000 pounds. Set with a skid steer with forks or an excavator with a thumb; no mortar needed for gravity walls at typical residential heights.
Best uses
- Residential and commercial retaining walls
- Landscape and seat walls
- Entry features and columns
