About this stone

This is our most finished wall stone. Every block is milled top and bottom to 12¾ inches and then both ends are sawn square, so vertical joints close up as tightly as the horizontal ones. Corners come out crisp and courses run dead straight.

The face stays natural — a split Natural Tan, Gray Horizon or 50/50 mix — so the wall still reads as real quarried limestone, just laid with the precision of a cut-stone job.

Sawn ends are a paid extra over plain milled stone. They are worth it on walls people stand next to: entries, patios, pool surrounds and anything with visible corners or ends.

Why does it cost more than plain milled?

Two extra saw cuts per stone and more handling at the yard. Your estimate shows both options so you can decide by the wall.

Can I mix milled and milled-with-sawn-ends?

Yes — a common approach is sawn-end stone on corners and exposed ends with plain milled stone in the field of the wall. Tell us the wall layout and we'll split the tonnage.
