Kansas limestone for Tennessee hills and lakes.
Hillside lots and lake property across Tennessee need walls that hold grade and stone that can sit at the water's edge. We ship full loads of Flint Hills limestone, quoted with freight to your ZIP.
Hillside walls
Middle and East Tennessee lots are often steep, and a wall there is doing real structural work. 14" Premium ledge stone, with 18–24" beds, is our usual recommendation for walls that hold a slope; your wall designer or engineer sets the height, batter and drainage.
Getting down to the water
One-piece limestone step treads, 6" or 7" rise, make a path down a lake bank or hillside. Quarry slabs up to 12' long span small creeks and make benches and landings at the shoreline.
Shoreline work
Many Tennessee lakes are managed by TVA or the Corps of Engineers, and shoreline work there typically needs a permit. Check before you place rip rap or build at the water. Once you have the permit, our rip rap is sized 1'×1' or random for bank protection.
Long-haul freight, quoted up front
Tennessee is a long run from Kansas, so we price full 24-ton loads with freight to your ZIP before you commit. Tell us how a truck reaches the site — narrow lake roads and steep drives change which trailer we send.
