How the math works
1. Wall face. Multiply the length of the wall by its height, in feet. Count the full height of stone, including any course your designer sets below grade.
2. Tons. Divide the face area by the coverage per ton. Most of our 14" and 12" wall stone builds about 7 square feet of face per ton.
3. Truckloads. Divide the tons by 24. A full load is about 24 tons, which builds roughly 170 square feet of face, or about 150 linear feet of a single 14" course.

These are planning estimates, not quotes. Natural stone varies: bed depth, joints and waste all change the real coverage, and Sundown Ledge's wider 10–30" beds use more tons per square foot than Premium. Steps are sold by the piece, so count them separately. We confirm the tonnage with you before anything ships.
